Ben Clowes is available for public speaking engagements at companies and schools. He draws on his experiences in the mountains, focusing in particular on the inspiring story behind his journey to the summit of Everest with his brother in 2006.
They had tried Everest two years earlier from the Northern side in Tibet and had to turn round below the summit after being caught in a severe storm which claimed the lives of eight climbers over two days. He focuses on the importance of being able to rely on teammates but above all of never giving up. Past audiences have commented on the inspiration and honesty of his presentation.
He firmly believes that you don’t have to be an extraordinary person to achieve extraordinary things. Many of the barriers to what we believe is possible, lie in the mind. He has spoken for corporate clients such as Hewlett Packard and Slaughter & May as well as at numerous schools. Talks can be tailored to your requirements.
